It's going to be a great day....my prenatal check up went well. My baby's heartbeat was a solid 159...very good indeed! I always look forward to my appointment, it's a wonderful feeling to hear his little heart beating. Truly amazing!!

Your baby is getting downright chubby as fat deposits continue accumulating beneath his skin, which looks pink because blood vessels are so close to the surface. He'll rely on those fat deposits after he's born to provide energy and insulate him against cold. By the end of this week, he'll probably weigh more than 2 pounds. The placenta is now almost fully developed.
Yeah, love the blog and love my little fur-nieces too - what a cute pic of all three! Can't wait to read all the antics they get into with my little nephew!
